The Thunder come from behind and beat the Sacramento Kings 105-103.
This team, you guys…
I totally get the tank fans out there. Heck, I want a high draft pick next year. I really do. Losing is the best way to make that happen. BUT, HOW CAN ANYONE ROOT AGAINST THESE GUYS!?
Tre Mann needs to be in the rotation all the time. I know he’ll get some good burn for the Blue, but he’s an NBA player.
Mann tonight: 12 points in 18 minutes. He shot 5-8 and chipped in 2 rebounds and 4 fouls.
Kenny Hustle and Mike Muscala are flying under the radar with the Thunder’s success, but OKC absolutely does not win these games without these guys putting in the solid minutes they put in.
SGA shot just 9 of 24, but man I love how he switches to superstar mode in the second half.
Shai tonight: 22 points.
Shai has the killer-instinct. His shot wasn’t falling tonight, but he’s going to make plenty of highlight reels in his career.
Jeremiah Robinson-Earl was my pre-season pick to be this year’s biggest surprise and I’ll gladly stick to that.
JRE tonight: 2 points and 14 rebounds.
JRE tied Serge Ibaka for most rebounds in a game for a Thunder rookie.
Darius Bazley was worrying me to start the season, but man he’s really been solid as of late.
Not afraid to admit I was ready to hit the panic button on Baze in the first week of the season. Not now.
Bazley tonight: 15 points on 6-8 shooting, 8 rebounds.
Poku was better tonight. Now that Baze is putting it together consistently I can focus all my worry on Poku.
Bold Prediction: By the end of Lu Dort’s career he will be on Russell Westbrook levels of love in Oklahoma City.
There’s A LOT that has to happen before then. But it’s going to happen. He’s just SO Oklahoma City.
Dort tonight: 22 points, 5 rebounds, and a game-winning steal and finish.
