It finally happened: the Oklahoma City Thunder have their man at head coach.

Turns out, they didn’t have to look far: assistant Mark Daigneault will take the top job in Oklahoma City, as first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Daigneault has been a mainstay in the Thunder organization, serving as the head coach for the G-League Oklahoma City Blue for five seasons, prior to his promotion as an assistant coach for the Thunder in 2019-20.

Prior to his arrival in Oklahoma City, Daigneault was an assistant under Billy Donovan at Florida for four seasons.
